Keyboard issues after S20 OS August 2021 Update

Hi, my first post here.

So I installed the latest OS update today morning on my S20 FE 5G and after that I have experienced strange touch screen or keyboard issues. When ever I try to write something with my keyboard it just lags or I have severe misspellings. The keyboard frequently doesn't recognize when I press the letter or it writes the same letter two or three times. It's very frustrating!

I have read on another forum users suffering the same issues. Anybody here have same problems?

I have rebooted the phone and changed the keyboard without success. I tested a Touchscreen testing app and it shows the actual touchscreen works very well with no issues. I didn't have any problems before installing the latest update. Any ideas what to do next?

Kernel version: 4.19.113-22378117

Security patch level: Sep 1 2021.

Not solved, I don't know whether it's helpful or not but when checking with touch test app, multiple touch shows issue and not stable, sometimes shows 2 point and sometimes shows a line between two of three points of touch

Yes, it's an indication of trash digitizer. All or at least most S20FE are like that. ☹️

Maybe I made a mistake bought this device,  my device is new, there are posts told the problem of touch was gone, Hope to see solution or update

Hi everybody, I am facing the same problem with my S20 FE 4G (Snapdragon version). Impossible to swipe without missing some words or mis registering words (whether using Gboard or Samsung Keyboard).

However, I found something interesting. If I swipe with the phone in my hand using my thumb, I can reproduce the issue but if I put the phone on a table (or any flat surface) and try to swipe with any fingers, there's no problem at all.

That makes me think it could be an over sensitivity issue maybe.

If someone else can try and tell us if it does work or not.

For information, i'm on the october 2021 update.

My wife and I both have an FE. We have both been experiencing the same problems as described here since August. It is driving us crazy. It was a real effort to type this message. I hope Samsung fix it soon. It is unacceptable and puts us off buying Samsung in future.

I get exactly the same touchscreen problems if I hold it in hand or it's on my desk; if I use stylus or finger or glove; with and without screen protector; with and without case; with touch sensitivity option on or off.

This model of phones has busted digitizer. Samsung kinda improved it a few months ago but since September security patch it's busted again.

This phone is already 1 year old. It's too old for Samsung to fix any bugs 😞 They already moved on to S21 and S22😑
