My device started to present this problem, and I tried all the ways described on the internet to resolve the issue. Nothing resolved, until I noticed a pattern: when I connected the device via the USB cable to my notebook, to transfer files, it ended up showing the green screen from hell. So I accessed the device's screen using the app "Your phone" in Windows 11, changed the brightness, opened some menus, and the screen started working again. I stopped connecting the device to the notebook via the USB cable and the problem stopped happening. Test this yourself too.
It is difficult to link the device to the notebook using "Your phone" if the screen is green, as you need to authorize access via the device. The YES button to accept pairing always appears in the lower right corner of the screen. One way (which doesn't always work) to make the green screen disappear momentarily is to go into settings, display, change the brightness, change the screen definition... do this several times... keep turning the screen off and on consecutively... . plug and unplug the USB cable connected to the notebook... or just leave the cell phone still, until it is completely discharged, and then give it a full charge with it turned off. Once you have the screen back, link the device to Windows, open screen sharing, and no longer plug it into the computer using the USB cable.

Edited: nevermind, I've got a 20+ and no side key. I'll go find other threads.
