My S20 screen started with feint flickering but has now worsened in that the whole screen is flashing with pink lines. I am unable to see anything on the screen to reset or do any other actions. Does anyone know if it is fixable? The phone was working absolutely fine before this happened and has not been damaged in anyway.  I have tried draining the battery, re-charging, pressing power/volume down buttons, nothing works. Thank you

It could be fixable and the only way to know would be to let a Samsung trained technician to look at it. It will cost and with the S20 software support coming to an end. You should think whether the cost to fix is worth or buy a new device.

That's what I feared. It's such a shame as the phone is in immaculate condition and was working fine. They just seem expendable these days. I think I will be looking at a new phone but definitely other brands.  Thanks for your reply 🙂

As the S20 Series are now officially out of support, time to upgrade....

With an s21, I find this quite relatable! I'm sorry to hear you are having some phone problems. Samsung don't provide updates for S20s anymore and it's probably time to upgrade! I recommend an s23/s24/s25!

Hi @NMev

Most likely due to flex cable, would definitely recommend a professional authorised Samsungs repair shop to look at it or upgrade.

Due to age of the phone as was mentioned by Piper123 I personally would look into upgrading your phone, depending on your budget.

I'm looking at the A range. I'm definitely not wasting my money on the S range anymore.
