Green Screen on s20. Was Green and White Lines. Need my data!

 Ar first my s20 had a white screen with lines that looked like a CRT that lost sync. After a soft reset, I had scrolling white and green lines. I let it sit for 2 days, and now it just looks like the charging level circle with a green background. Has not gotten wet. I need my date and pictures but have to turn in the phone within 30 days. I can't use Smart Switch because I can't scan a QR code. I tried a USB-C to HDMI cable to a TV, but had no signal. Do I need to use a computer with an HDMI input? How can I save my data? I think it's caused by flex connector contamination. I'm tempted to open it. Will Verizon still take it as a trade in if I do?

I believe you can fix the phone and recover your data if you operate the phone from the Bios menu.

Hi and welcome, my suggestion would be to speak with Verizon about trade in, as for data did you have it regularly backing up to Samsung and Google? If so you should be able to get your data from them. Unfortunately this is the UK community so you might be better served posting this on your USA community as others there will have had experience with Verizon. I hope this helps 🙏

But, if you have any backups on the cloud, you can use account.samsung.com to view them or restore via another Samsung device.
