Factory reset onedrive sync and Samsung gallery

Last time I did a factory reset on my phone I lost all of my photos in onedrive.  I need to do another est how do avoid losing all my pictures? Is there a song that I need to change?

Shouldn't really lose photos on OneDrive, once backed up, unless deleted. Could be that the settings weren't toggled on for all samsung gallery albums to be backed up if they weren't showing in onedrive maybe.

An easier way to do a quick back up of everything at once would be SmartSwitch on PC/Laptop if you have one then restore from back up once phone is set up again.

I use Google One to back up my stuff. I also sync to Google Photos and my pics have Always been there after any factory reset

I will try to do this with my laptop and maybe I might not had all the albums linked. I'm not sure because it's been over a year now😕

Ah okay, difficult to say then. Also, if you use WhatsApp then you'll need to do a manual backup via whatsapp settings > chat > chat back up
