Student Store Verification Page Won't Accept My ac.uk. Email

No matter what I do, the only way to access the student store seems to be through the mobile Unidays app. Just putting this here to point out that Samsung's own verification service does not seem to work. I certainly have a uni email and entering it returns an error message claiming that my student email is not valid.
