Samsung Wallet "Connection Error"

UPDATE: Exhausted other options around CSC changers etc and nothing worked. Called Samsung Support and they couldn't diagnose the issue. Everything that would flag an issue of compatibility all checked out ok. They ultimately recommended asking the Retailer for a replacement, which I will be doing.

 

I just bought an Unlocked S22 in the UK and no matter what I try I cannot get Samsung Wallet set up.

Every time I try to progress the set up screen I get an error popup saying "Connection Error. Try again later."

For context I have the Sam Wallet app set up and working perfectly on my S10e.

Hi, @Daisy1963 . Thanks for your post. I appreciate your concern, and can assure you that this matter is being looked into. I have provided a temporary workaround (and a good way to create a backup of your Sign-in info and Private info) in the thread below:

I am having the same problem, the phone is in Finland, language set to English, but the store offering is in Finnish and the UI is in English if that helps. I need Samsung Wallet because I think I need it for digital key to work.
