Samsung calendar notification issue since updating to Android 15/UI 7.0

Ever since updating my Samsung S24 to Android 15/UI 7.0 last night my Samsung Calendar has stopped doing notifications properly. I believe a number of others have has this issue too. I've tried wiping cache, data, reinstalling the app, giving it unlimited battery, ensuring all notifications are turned on etc... Any tips/advice aside from moving to a different Calendar app, as I've had zero issues previously with Samsung calendar before. Thank you

Just one other thing i can think of is in the calendar settings, if alerts has been turned off? Or you need to select Samsung Calender as default? Feel like Colombo 😂, I will leave you be now! Having said that, just noticed you can also contact via the calender, there's a contact us option in there1744490950906.jpg

Thanks! No alerts are definitely on. I sometimes get the alerts on like an 8 minute time delay if I'm using my phone, but if the screen is off I get nothing. At the moment I've had to install Google Calendar as a temporary workaround (it wasn't working before I installed that, so I know it's not that causing a clash issue) so at least I'm not missing my reminders. Have sent error report and summary via the Feedback link but I'm not hopeful anyone from Samsung development team will get back to me?!

Yeh they will get back to you ! However, sounds like your lock screen notifications is the issue?

Definitely have it turned on (see picture). And I'm not getting the reminder notification when I'm using my phone either - so it's both the lock screen and the status bar at the top that's an issue1744493089998.jpg

Gosh you're welcome, I am just sorry I couldn't help more but it seems like something that should be on their radar slready. It's hard trying to help cos no one wants to teach grandma how to suck eggs but then at the same time, there's stuff that people aren't aware of. My rule of thumb is updates in Samsung app store, update Samsung app store, updates in Google play store, update the google play store, go into about phone and check Google play system update and obviously normal update option. Then I always check chrome, i will go into the app in the store uninstall and reinstall, then do the same with Google play services app, I very rarely have issues. The other thing is timezones, that can bugger things up as well. Did you check you AOD settings (sorry😂)

Yeah I have a very similar checklist for myself haha! Yeah I don't have AOD even turned on - again, this shouldn't be an issue as it wasn't turned on in Android 14. What's weird is my last Samsung Calendar reminder at 10:45pm UK time showed on the lock screen 😂 so the issue is not even consistent! 🤦😂 The only common thing I can see so far is Android 15 - as the other users have S25 devices so assume they're running Android 15 too

Did you ever sort this out? I'm having exactly the same issues since the horrid upgrade to UI 7 on my S23.

Nope! It's a nightmare. I've had to download Google Calendar which always gives me notifications. So I either get notifications once or twice 😂🤦 I thought they'd be quicker fixing it. Try reporting it yourself as well as an issue
