Samsung calendar notification issue since updating to Android 15/UI 7.0

Ever since updating my Samsung S24 to Android 15/UI 7.0 last night my Samsung Calendar has stopped doing notifications properly. I believe a number of others have has this issue too. I've tried wiping cache, data, reinstalling the app, giving it unlimited battery, ensuring all notifications are turned on etc... Any tips/advice aside from moving to a different Calendar app, as I've had zero issues previously with Samsung calendar before. Thank you

I've got this problem as well. Occasionally it works, other times it won't work unless I unlock the phone. Sometimes it works but is late or times it doesn't work at all. Samsung really screwed up this time. The whole time I can hear the notifications working properly on my galaxy tab

It's really bad isn't it? Have you reported it via your phone to Samsung?

I worked out what it was. It was a clock widget I installed straight after installing one UI 7 because I hated the updated clock widget from Samsung. I installed digital clock widget by maize which caused all the problems. I uninstalled it and everything works fine again. I found the solution in another post. Can't believe a clock widget did it but it did

That's so weird! I installed that same clock widget for the exact same reason...! Thank you so much for sharing, really appreciate it! Have you found another clock widget that works okay? Or are you just living with the Samsung one? I hate the UI 7 one when you make it large on the home screen it shows seconds which I don't want. Just want the hour and minutes

Yea same! my calendar no longer does audible alerts at all
