Hi
My s health app has stopped counting my steps on the phone.
Is there any way this can be reset?
I only use the app on my Samsung A50 phone

You can possibly resolve it by performing some basic troubleshooting steps:
1. Please check if there's a pending update of Samsung Health App in your phone on the Google Playstore or Galaxy app.
2. Clear the cache(temporary files which may cause a bugs) of the Samsung Health through Settings> Apps> Samsung Health> Storage> Clear cache. If the issue still persist, choose the ''Clear data''.
3. Uninstall/reinstall through Settings> Apps> Samsung Health> Uninstall, to install please open the Google Playstore or Galaxy Apps.

Same problem here. Brand new A50 and it doesn't work 🤔😳
It worked on my old Motorola. What is a paradox.

I have a new A50 and have this problem too. I contacted Samsung members with this issue several times. They only say clear data even when i wrote i gave done that. It fix my issue temporarly. Also restart phone fix temporarly.
I guess there us a software bug Samsung have to fix or the A50 is defect.
If i track an activity it counts step correct in the activity, but total steps for the day can be zero

Had the same problem. Nothing worked. Except a reboot 👍😀

I frequently get this on my A50. I have to reboot the phone to get it counting again

None of the steps suggested is working. I am disappointed with this app. I had no such problem in my lenovo phone for 3 years. My Samsung Galaxy M30 has started giving problem within 9 months of purchase.
