Samsung account email

I just got an email with the new account deletion policy 

If im signed in on my samsung phone or use a app with my account for example samsung health to track my bike rides, im safe and my account will not be deleted ?

The email says that if you use any samsung services within a year then you're fine. Meaning just using a samsung phone is enough to keep the account active

What @arianwen27 has said is pretty much the long and short of it. As long as you're signed into your Samsung account on your phone then there's no danger of it being deleted.
