Under Files, Storage, I get the Internal Storage and then the OneDrive logo.
(I am signed in with my Windows account - under which I get the 1TB storage space)

Under the OneDrive logo on the Files screen (Storage), it says in grey - Not Signed in.

When I click on the OneDrive logo onder Storage - I get the message:

"Error Occurred. Try again."

When I open the OneDrive App, no problem.
I can access and download my files to a location on the internal storage.

Can anyone help with a reason why the OneDrive under the Storage section, will keep on giving errors and how to resolve it. If possible.

Please and thanks in advance.

Ah, I see. Thanks for confirming. Did you clear the My Files app cache and data as well to see if that helped?

If so, are you able to upload a short video clip (ensuring that any private data is obscured) so we can see how the issue presents? Your description is very clear, but sometimes video clips and screenshots give an even clearer indication of how an issue manifests:

I see what you mean. Did you try clearing the My Files app cache and data (Settings > Apps > My Files > Storage > Clear data > Clear Cache) as well to see if that helped?

I too am having the exact same issue. This only started happening as of this week.

I have also tried the above mentioned steps to no avail. I also updated my phone to the latest software update OneUI 6.1, this too did not resolve the issue.

I read somewhere online that Samsung are moving to Microsoft servers which may be causing this issue?

If you manage to get this resolved, please let me know as I personally use this function quite regularly :smiling-face:

I have gotten in touch with both Samsung and Microsoft and both of them are saying it's not a problem on their end, so I don't know where to go from here. If someone else could maybe ask Samsung and/or Microsoft, because I'm getting nowhere.

I have the same problem here and I saw there is no solution yet. Has any one solved this?

Same issue here since 6th of dec. On my Galaxy tablet I cannot paste (or upload) files into the onedrive by using the MY FILES app. I cannot delete files from the Ondedrive by using the my files app.

After cleaning cache and reilstall / update both Onedrive and My Files, things only went worse. ABout 25 GB from the external SD card seems to have dissapeared. I still cannot upload or delete in the onedrive using the My Files app.

Odd: when I open an downloaded file outside of My Files, I can upload it into the One Drive on the same tablet.

Odd: on my Samsung phone (an other device) My Files still work properly with onedrive.

Odd and sad: when I open Word docs on my tablet, they do not longer open in a bought Word version but they are blocked in the Ondedrive app. I have to open these files from the Word app. Sometimes these files open in a trial version of Word. In the My Files app I can chose to open these files in the Word app but I cannot set this as default, I have to request it every time.

Until December 2024 I was able to download files to My files and move them to my OneDrive, but then I couldn't do that anymore.

Logging out from OneDrive in My files and trying to log in again, I get the same error message.

As I use this process a lot, I would really like for this problem to be fixed
