Why Samsung?????

The May 2025 UI one update is horrible and the widgets are worse. I bought the Galaxy S24 because I didn't like S25 with gimmicks and decreased features,  if I wanted my phone to look like an iPhone and act like an iPhone I would buy an Apple phone..

I am a UX/UI designer and I know for a fact that anything with a curved design is compromising the font size area space. Samsung, if you change the phone designs and widgets designs then let us have the option to decide if we want those changes or keep our old formats, don't make the decision for us. Samsung was all about choices which it was great to have, but sadly now, they are taking that away from us and acting like Apple.

Very disappointed in Samsung and really thinking of going to another android phone provider.

Since you claim to be all Gandhi like with your free time support, you do love to give a lot talk with 0 help. Don't know what paycheck you're referring to.

I have no allegiance to no brand, if this doesn't work, then something else will. I'm no svengali to a brand nor a fan, contrary to people providing their free time for brands my qualm is usability that was purchased/will be purchased.

Yes, we did investigate the battery drainage, curious how it started the same day after the update, even more curious how you also ignored all other valid points about usability, not just mine but from other users too.

Thank you for your free service, it was greatly appreciated.

It's so ugly! another designer here.

It looks like it's designed for primary school children. 🤮

The new update also demolished the whole look of my phone i can't F****** stand it!!! I want to smash the phone. I hate pulling down on the right side for settings left side notifications. I can't get rid of the stupid search at the bottom of the app screen. I was a loyal samsung customer. Forget it NEVER EVER buying a samsung again so disappointed!!!!

I'm absolutely devastated, had 10 beautiful collaged functional homepages all gone, they took away the 1x1 widgets, added colour to the samsung app widgets, can't have 100% transparency on gallery, much more. Devastated, can't even look at my phone properly, have been with samsung for like 6 phones and only one for them was really good about 2 or 3 phones in. I think I've had enough now.

This I've noticed for sure. Wish I never updated. Actually heartbroken.

I am a long time Techy, getting old even, seen all, tried all done all, been a web designer, was there when the original curves arrived to create an extra CSS headache in HTML before it really worked properly, and now translated into all mediums.

I agree completely, silly idea to just forcefully apply it for all without an obvious option to disable, sure, you can spend a few hours (the first time) adjusting your settings to get back to a square box environment, but really, you should be asked if you want that particular UI update - I have been a developer since 1992. I built my initial foundation on the creation of websites during Uni. and have seen all UI updates throughout, curves came from Photoshop and Mac users, all others, bowed to. But it is not the best method for all things, originally, it was for images and 'presentation'
