Why did Samsung Galaxy take the "Revert" option away from us?

Yes I know we could "save as a copy" but now we can't revert those copies back to the original.

Samsung goes as far as to keep the "Revert" option visible, but they gray it out!  Tell Samsung to give us back that option. If not, I'll be jumping ship really soon.

If you tap the three dots on a picture or video, the Revert to Original option appears.

Do you know how to revert without having to save the entire video file? When I click revert I have to "save changes" and I get a msg saying there is not enough space for that? How can there not be enough space when the file is already there?

Not on mine. The revert symbol is still at the top, but it no longer works for that. Very annoying! That was something I used frequently!

I know!!!  I hate that, as I used it pretty frequently. Like you I'm going to be looking for another phone. My little brother has about got me convinced to go to an iPhone, it does have great features but I hate having anything to do with the creators of it.

I didn't even save the crooped photo in the cropped phase, but cannot get back to the original! That really ticks me off. I've liked Samsung up to now. I do not like that one bit.
