One UI 6 introduced the ability to drag and drop files within the My Files App.
But everytime I use this I have to go back and delete the file from the original location. Drag and Drop copies the files rather than move them

That's right. It is advertised as such in the release notes. In Gallery, you get the option to either Copy or Move. In My Files app, it is always copy.
It will nice to have the same options in My Files app when dragging and dropping files.

I'd almost go as far to say this is a bug. Most operating systems move files when dragging and dropping to a different location on the same drive. Another oversight for one UI 6. I'm really starting to feel the unpolished finish of it and agreeing more and more with those that feel it was a little rushed
