I have the new samsung s24 ultra and I have just recently built a PC which runs windows 11 pro. I installed quick share on my pc and was having issues with it at first but I solved them all for the most part. The only thing is that it seems like I can send files to my phone and my samsung tab s8 plus tablet and it works very smoothly, but for some reason, whenever I try to send files from my phone or tablet to my PC, it won't get them. for example, on my phone, when I try to send a file, my pc shows up as one of the devices I can send it to, but when I tap it, I get the notification on my pc, but all the says is "preparing" and it never gets past that. It ends up saying that "My PC didn't respond to the sharing request". I have tried to look it up and see if I can find a fix, but just can't find anything. Any ideas about what's wrong??

@KevinDavis05: If you're having some issues with the Quick Share feature, then you may wish to try Link to Windows, which allows you to easily sync documents, pictures, and much more, between your phone and PC. To find out more, please take a look at the link below from our friends at Samsung US.

Let me know how you get on.

I have the same issue with my Samsung s24 Ultra and Samsung Book 4 Edge (Windows 11 Enterprise) with QuickShare. However I can neither send nor receive via QS. It only works from PC using a link to transfer, but not the QS app and I cannot do the opposite S24 Ultra to PC. I get that same error "preparing..." and then "PC didn't respond to...". The Windows link is a work around however it has a lesser limit of MB transfer than QS.
I do get an initial message when sending from PC to S24 that includes "PIN # (and includes numbers) but there is no where on the S24 Ultra QuickShare window to put those numbers. These are both Samsung devices and QuickShare comes preinstalled on both devices from Samsung.

I have the phone link app setup and I use it, but there are times when Quick Share is more convenient to use. I have the S24 Ultra as well, and I am experiencing the same issue as the original post. You can't tell me that your response is "just use another app". Let us know whether you have a fix or some sort of update.

***** at Samsung, don't try fix something that's not broken. Original Quick Share worked, and now the ***** with Google doesn't.
It's 2025 and we are having difficulty sending a file from my S25 to a PC. Jesus ***** Christ. There is a reason why Apple products have high premium.
