Galaxy Watch Samsung Pay plug-In not installing

Hi I use my galaxy watch with my asus Zenfone 5, and when i try to configure Samsung pay it starts a download on my smartphone, but when the download ends nothing happens and if i try to open the samsung pay page from the galaxy watch plug-in it starts again the Download.

Does anyone have had problems using this with non Samsung smartphones?

This issue can be solved in anyway?

Hi @Carmichael272. Samsung Pay is only compatible with Samsung phones and won't work with your Zenfone.

i want to use samsung pay on my galaxy watch, not on smartphone but to configure the cards for watch I have to use the plug in on phone

That's right, the watch syncs with your phone to use Samsung Pay. It won't work unfortunately.

Can you please go to Google Play store and search for "Galaxy Wearable (Samsung Gear)" & install it?

I suspect that when your phone is trying to pair with your Asus phone is trying to access a link (to Galaxy Store) which is unavailable (to download Galaxy Wearable app).

If you Galaxy Watch is purchased from UK and has UK software, in Galaxy Wearable app, you will have a Samsung Pay section that would enable you to add your card to Samsung Pay on your Gear Watch.

@CarlH is also right, you cannot install Samsung Pay on a non-Samsung phone, but the Galaxy Wearable app can be installed on a non-Samsung Phone. Take a look here: Click

Hi @GeorgeC what i meant in my first post was that i have installet the "Gear Wearable (Samsung Gear)" app from the google play store, my problem is that when i open that app and click on samsung pay in the settings page it starts to download it but when the download ends and i click again to go on with the configuration the download starts again.

first step as my watch asks i click on the samsung pay option in the settings menù of gears app

In your list of apps, do you have Samsung Pay (Gear Plugin) present?
