HI There, We have the WW8500T washing machine bought Jan 21. Yesterday it was doing an eco cycle of a relatively small load of whites, and it got down to 10 minutes and stayed there, nothing going on just the cycle showing on the window. This can't be right I thought about 45 minutes later. So I turned it off, back on again and set it to a short 15 min cycle. Again it got to 10 minutes but this time it came up with a "drain check" or something like message. So I drained it using the little pipe at the bottom, then let the drain out and there was hardly anything in the drain at all. I checked the water inlet and cleaned the tiny dinky filter again nothing in there at all. Now I can turn the washing machine on, select any load happily, it locks the door and then says washing under the cycle but nothing happens...It will be like that 20 minutes later or 45 minutes later, no matter what the cycle. I have already booked a service engineer and whilst I wait for them to make contact and find out how long an appointment is, I was wondering if anyone experienced this or something similar and had any ideas? I've tried a wool wash, infact tried nearly every load type, and it does exactly the same thing, says washing but it never does anything now. Thanks
