Has anyone had this issue of flashing dash symbol on both fridge and freezer temperature displays ?
Did you find a resolution? Maybe an input code or possibly replacement parts ?
Would appreciate your help as it’s a great fridge freezer and no longer available.
Below is a sequence of the events ….
I turned off fridge freezer, removed plug to slide fridge / freezer 18 inches (kept it upright) to access and repair fitted cupboard alongside. While fridge freezer was off I carefully removed all fluff and dust around “coils “ condenser fan and vents.
Slid fridge/ freezer back into its position, plugged in and switched on. Immediately the temperature values for fridge and freezer displayed on fridge door were flashing and buzzer sounding. I left it 5 mins in the “hope” that it would resolve, it didn’t . Switched off and unplugged left 10 mins and tried again. Didn’t resolve it.
I did “trouble shoot” on Samsung website. Didn’t resolve it.
I tried Samsung online chat who took me through the same trouble shooting I’d previously done. I’ve searched” the net “ in hope of finding a “ reset” option ie pressing certain buttons in a sequence as offered on some Samsung American Style Fridge freezers, no joy.
I called Samsung Support who gave me number for recognised repair agent who suggested needed a new door !!!! I think for them an easier option than checking various replaceable parts 🥹
I have put thermometer in fridge and one in freezer. Fridge is running at 0c prior to issue ran at 4c. The freezer running at 21c prior to issue was 19c.
If anyone has had these issues I’d appreciate if you could share how you resolved them .
