Why doesn't plate warming function work with dual oven?

Still trying to get my head round the instructions for NV7B42503AK. Apparently the 'special functions' including plate warming only work for the full oven.  It seems obvious to me that you would often want to warm plates in one half while cooking something in the other half!

@KateMB: I understand your concerns. If the 'Plate warm' operation is not available in Dual Cook mode then, as a workaround, you can simply set the temperature of the upper or lower zone to the Plate warm suggested temperature (50 degrees Celcius). This way you can cook your meal and keep your plates warm simultaneously.
