Hi,
The machine is making a rubbing noise when I turn the drum by hand (video attached). Before it was making a banging noise for some time. It was levelled and not overloaded.
Can you advise?

Hi, @Anna186. I highly recommend consulting the thread below:
It's not clear whether you're experiencing any issues with noise or the function of your washing machine while it's in operation.
As mentioned within the linked thread, it'd possible you'll need to liaise with one of our Support Teams who'll guide you on the next steps.
Please let us know how it goes.

Hi @ChrisM , yes, the same sound takes place when the machine is in operation. I noticed the sound for the first time when I started a cycle and the drum was turning to evaluate the load. I stopped the machine right away as didn't want further damage if there was any, didn't want to risk...

Hi, I called out a Samsung engineer as the machine was still on the warranty. 2 week after he came and found the issue - the belt was stretched, so when the drum was passing the stretched section of the rubber band, it was making that noise. The belt was replaced and the issue was resolved - for free as still on warranty.
I hope your machine will be repaired quickly and easily!
