Hi guys. Looking for advice on how to fix.

Washing machine is not heating water. All cycles complete their run successfully but with stone cold water. So I imagine it could be the washing element but I am recieveing no error codes!

Is there a diagnostic check I can run to see if it is the element before I buy one? Samsung support won't help as 2 and a half years old. Thank you in advance.

Hi Fedupp

i had some luck. They refused to accept responsibility but I issued a letter before action to head office, setting out what my issues were and that I’d be taking them to court. It was the first and only correspondence that prompted a reply in over a year. They agreed to refund me what I’d paid and collected the machine, “as a gesture of goodwill”.
Oddly enough, the Miele replacement I bought has been amazing and works as it should. Despite (as Samsung suggested) me being the problem (it didn’t smell, I didn’t clean it enough, it was my drains), I’ve managed to have no such issues with this and my washing actually smells clean! It also smells clean when I take it out of the wardrobe, not like it needs washing again. And, just as exciting, the machine never smells either. I don’t have to leave the door open or clean it after every use or any other nonsense.

upshot is, their machines clearly have a problem and they know about it else they’d never have refunded me. Good luck! Hope this can help

Hi, If the relay is broken will it make a humming noise rather than a click?

I think I have a heating problem, when I enter the test I only get a hum not a click.

Is the silicone easy enough to remove.?

Thanks

Hi, did you solve your problem? I bought my washing machine 2 weeks ago and have same issue. 60 and 90 degrees works good but 40 degrees and less it doesn’t heat up water 🤨
