In 2016 we purchased a condo, gutted it, and installed all Samsung appliances (refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer). I have had, and still have problems with every single appliance we purchased. I WILL NEVER BUY SAMSUNG AGAIN. EVER.
Refrigerator - ice machine stopped working several times.
Stove - one burner doesn’t work, and the touchpad board stopped functioning so I couldn’t use the oven until i replaced it.
Microwave - has a mind of its own. The fan turns on randomly. At first it was just the fan now it’s the light as well. Also the touchpad doesn’t work sometimes so it can be used. Can’t figure out a pattern to it.
Dishwasher - had water damage to our wood floor due to leakage, had main board and door seal replaced twice.
Washer - had to replace several things, front chrome is completely corroded, only on washer not matching dryer.
Dryer - heating element has been replaced FIVE times.
DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES.

I bought a new build condo in 2018 and it came with Samsung stackable Washer/Dryer, Oven/Cooktop, Microwave and Dishwasher.
In 2020 the door to the microwave had to be replaced. In 2023 the Dishwasher started flooding and had to be replaced and now I'm waiting on a new Oven/Cooktop because the panel froze and the oven no longer works. JUST LAST NIGHT the dryer stopped heating. I have a service call for that tomorrow.
Slowly replacing everything with Whirlpool. I'll never buy or recommend Samsung appliances again.

I'm really sorry to hear about your experience—that sounds incredibly frustrating, especially after investing in a full set of appliances. It's disappointing when products from a trusted brand don't live up to expectations, and even more so when multiple units have repeated issues. Ongoing problems with ice makers, control boards, leaks, and heating elements—especially in refrigerators—are unacceptable and often point to poor quality control. As someone familiar with refrigerator repair, I can say that these types of issues should not be occurring so soon and can be very costly and inconvenient to fix. Thank you for sharing such a detailed review—it’s important feedback that others will definitely find helpful when considering appliance brands. I hope you've been able to find more reliable replacements since then.
