Washer won't start no error codes

Hi all,

I've had my washer dryer (wd90t654dbn/s1) for just over a year and it's now not running.

The unit turns on, I can select any programme (including drain and spin), the door click to lock and then nothing. 

No fill, drain or spin. No error codes shown.

I can only presume some sort of switch might have come loose or faulted, but ive no idea. 

Please can anyone help?

can you try this:

open filter door at bottom of machine
unscrew filter
with machine turned off can you poke your finger in the hole and try to turn the propellor of the drain pump and see if it turns? 

Normally the first thing the washing machine will try to do after you hear the door lock click is energise the drain pump and then drain for about 10 seconds then carry out the next phase. If the drain pump is blocked or seized or not working then I dont think it will move onto the next step of the cycle.

Worked for me! Usually the clean filter comes on but no warning. But yes it was the Filter. P.s why is the drain hose so blinking short 😫 lol....thank you again for this I was just going to call Samsung as my machine is less than 6 months old. It's Friday and I have family coming to stay so it was just going to start really stressing me out because of the washing I need to do to change beds etc...
