I have a WD13J7825KP unit, around 7 years old, suddenly started giving us issues. This is how it goes
1. Press Power Button to start - It starts after a delay somewhere between 1 - 5 mins, sometimes very quickly sometimes you have to go away and come back to it. Sometimes it never starts and next day we try again and it will start with delay! We always here a click when we switch off the machine at the power point.
2. Once the unit starts, the display will go on and off constantly, if you press a button it will not action it straight away, so you have to find a moment when display is on and press the button to operate or change settings. Sometimes long press of the button for it to work.
3. If we are lucky enough to start the cycle, in most cases cycle will finish as normal with display constantly coming ON for short periods of time during cycle. Few times we noticed cycle probably did not finish as we found machine door in lock state.
I have requested Samsung to help but they straight away refused. This unit costed us a lot of money and we were hoping for it to go for few more years. I am looking for any suggestions or tips which may help in this situation to fix the issue.
From my own observations i think its some electrical issues the main control board may be playing up or the display unit not sure.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
