[Warranty scam]

Warranty Scam = ‘5 year warranty doesn't count if you didn't register’ but we will advertise with a big 5 year warranty sticker that doesn't state this! 

2.5 year old tumble dryer, moderately used. 

Broken Motor and fan! Replacement £380! For the consumer to pay because ‘ computer says no’. 

Proof of date of purchase provided. 

Avoid this company! LG, Dyson And Hotpoint all obide by their warranty without this deliberate clause!

Referring to your failure to follow the terms of an extended warranty promotion is hardly a scam.

I recently bought an LG Television which was offered with an extended warranty. I still had to apply for it (in fairness LG made the process simple by providing all the info to D&G who then emailed me, asked a few questions then I was covered).

I would suggest you go back to Samsung Customer Services and politely explain your position again and if no joy politely ask to make a complaint.

Sorry but a scam this is not.
