Hi, my washing machine usually gets stuck at 6 minutes and will keep slowly turning the clothes, pick up speed, and then slow down again for hours. Eventually I give up and just chuck the clothes into the dryer, but I want a fix for the washer. I have read another persons post about the load being uneven, but I do not think that is the problem because I have manually moved the clothes around and it still will not finish the cycle. It does this every cycle. Does anyone else have this problem?

I have the same problem! I am so frustrated every time a certified samsung repair person comes to check on it they just plug into a tablet device and see nothing wrong with it because not codes are coming up and don't even run a cycle to see it in action and it will work for one day then that's it. I've tried to contact samsung directly for help, they are no help at all can't even get this matter escalated. The machine is deflective inefficient and wastes water! It really needs to get its energy star and water efficiency status revoked every time it reruns that spin cycle it adds water and it gets stuck in a cycle of doing this for hours! I think since Samsung is unresponsive, I think I'm going to write to congress to see if they can do something especially since we are in a state that has a drought!

I have this problem as well. It really has problems with heavy items like towels or jeans. It seems to be OK with loads made up of a bunch of shirts or things like that.
Technicians have come to look at it and find nothing wrong. Wish I had more to add. I have talked to Samsung support directly and the only suggestion they have is to do the calibration , which doesnt solve the problem.

I mean you think if you spent almost 1k on a wash machine it should work properly for longer than 18 mos!
My problem is so inconsistent, sometimes it will do large loads and sometimes it won't. I have problems with all types of loads small large. I've started to record the load dry, then when its wet, the hours and hours it restarts it self (I mean loads water then starts spin cycle again). I'm just going to record everything and then compile a video and post it EVERYWHERE!
I'm sure it is a design flaw. Miss my Kenmore, it was about 15 yrs old leaked had to put a pan to collect water but it was a work horse and even in that condition it worked better than this washer!
Good luck!
Still Frustrated!

This problem is rediculously aggravating! There is no error code and when I called Samsung the support person was surprised , well it must have been a faked response because obviously it's happened to many others . Now I have to wait for a repair person , move thee very heavy machines ( the dryer also has a problem )!

I know. I have just started to document it when it #@%@ up! It's just so insane. I've started to video tape it. Have another person coming out but I'm sure it won't get resolved. Usually it will work for about 24 hours after they come then not work again.
Let me know if you have any luck with the repair person.

Hi, my few month old Series 8 Quick drive seems to have started doing this today. I found it out when I used Drain and Spin mode, 14 mins. It runs down to 1 min remaining, but then just keep spinning on and off. I've given up trying to figure it out since I've already cleared the drain filter. Will leave it until my next full wash and see if full wash has any issues towards the end spin phase.

Not really, I just try and do smaller loads and give it time to finish, it’ll usually finish within a couple of hours. Im sorry I don’t have much of a fix for you 😞 Congrats on the little one!

Has anyone on this thread had any sort of resolution? I’ve been having a very similar, if not identical problem for several months now. I have a WV55M9600AV/A5 front loader and I love it when it works right but unfortunately it doesn’t often work right. I’ve replaced the main PCB control board and the inverter PCB for the lower washer and that seemed to fix the problem I had originally. Shortly thereafter it started in with the issue described in this thread. I’m hoping it’s not the motor or stator; ideally it’s a faulty sensor that isn’t too hard to get to.
