I received my new fridge freezer yesterday. It sits on a level floor and all doors stay open except the top left hand door which will swing half way closed by itself. This is very annoying and I wonder if there is a way I can adjust it ?

Hi @ChristianSE
Have you tried making an adjustment to the fridge door, as shown on page 45 of the user manual here: https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/202212/20221209151646617/T-TYPE_RF9000A_DA68-04023M-02...

Hi ChrisM,
Yes I have just tried that but the left fridge door keeps closing.

have the same issue as this - ours has been professionally installed, is fully level - yet the top left door wont stay open and always auto closes.. The other 3 doors are fine. Any more insights on how this can be fixed?

Hi, have you received a any additional support of this issue from Samsung as I am experiencing the same thing and when questioned the complaints team after an engineer attended they said this isn’t a known issue but are also refusing to help:

I've tried everything, 3 service providers couldn't fix it, they won't send anyone else and they won't honor the return/exchange policy. I laser-checked my floor to see if it's level....it is. I added clips to the door jam, added cardboard to the right side of the fridge to make it unlevel enough for the door to stop closing on me. NOTHING. I am taking samsung to small claims court. I need 20 of us to make it a class action. message me on the Community if you want to join. They say No because they know 99% of us wont do anything about it.

Have you found a solution yet? I have the same problem

No, I am afraid I have not found a solution to this. In the meantime, I have had a slightly newer model as a replacement for the old one, and the newer model has the same problem 😞

I think I found the solution, but despite it having a photo option here, it doesn’t allow me to add a photo to my comment. On the bottom part of the door, where the hinges are, there is a single screw with an allenkey top. You may have to sit on the floor to see it. Contrary to the other screws it doesn’t face up or down but towards the inside of the fridge. If you tighten or loosen that, it changes the vertical angle of the door and that seems to have solved it for me. Hope this helps
