New Washer/Dryer Drum is HOT!

I got a new Washer/Dryer delivered on 18th.  I have noticed after a wash only (I have triple checked and the machine is on Wash only , no dry cycle) the drum and the clothes are hot, almost as if they have been on a dry.  There is only a cold water inlet into the machine. 

This doesn't seem right- I've never had this with any other washing machine and am worried especially in relation to washing wool, which would just get damaged if I currently washed it with this happening. 

Can anyone help with what the issue might be please?

I wonder if whoever installed your washing machine has plumbed it into the household Hot Water Pipe at the back of the machine , or underneath the sink instead of the cold water pipe - loads of people have done this in error. It mean the final rinse before the spin is taking in hot water instead of cold water and then the clothes come out feeling hot

Some washing machines only have a cold water fill, mine does while the older one I had before this one had both hot and cold fill
