I have an DV90BB5245ABS1 Series 6+ Tumble Dryer - I have noticed that the heat exchanger is getting damp.  Should this be happening?

I've had the same issue since purchase but Samsung fail to acknowledge this as an issue even though that water will go stagnant and the clothes will start smelling of damp. Our towels smell of damp straight out of the dryer now even when we remove the heat exchange cover and the filter and leave it open in between cycles. They just won't want to do a recall.

have the same prob too mine is soaking at the bottom, rang them thinking I had 5 years warranty which I thought I had when I brought them and they said I’m not in warranty as I didn’t register them in a special way even tho I’ve registered them on the website and they say registered Nxt too them. I spent 4 hours speaking to an absolute  ***** !

I also have an auto dose washer that keeps failing, the mechanic said that Samsung knows there is a problem but until the 4th time of replacing the part they won’t replace the washer.

He actually broke my washer lid but I didn’t  think it mattered as he said my washer would be replaced eventually but now they have told me I’m not in warranty with that either and if I call them out for the lid it’s classes as criminal damage and I will have to pay so I’m absolutely fuming .. safe to say I won’t be using Samsung again, I’ve still got two years to pay for the bloody things I feel like cancelling my payment.

You could always try what I did and present them with legal action, there is content on Which about how to do this. Then use the email the CEO tool right at the bottom of the website and tell them what you're going to do.

I had my unit removed and completely refunded after 2 years of continuous issues and call outs but not after a massive struggle and then threatening to charge for further repairs.
