My Samsung Series 9 OptimalDry (DV90T8240SX/S1) Heat Pump Tumble Dryer has moisture in the heat exchanger fins and heat exchanger cleaning hatch after the drying cycle has finished. This is not (or has not been) normal for all previous operations up until now.

A while ago the dryer refused to work and displayed a message similar to 'Contact Service' (or some such) but then, without resetting or turning the power off, began normal operation again.

Is there a way to see if there are any error codes that have been stored?

It sounds like the unit may have logged a fault—try entering diagnostic mode (usually by holding down specific buttons like “Dry Level” + “Time” for a few seconds) to check for stored error codes; your manual or Samsung support can confirm the exact steps for your model.
