I see there a few posts on here relating to Samsung glass oven doors spontaneously exploding. It’s somewhat surprising and extremely disappointing that the only response from the company is that it is classed as “physical damage” and a chargeable repair not covered under warranty.

This just happened to me today with my 3 month oven. i have read countless report like this one , How is this a quality and safe product ? thankfully all I got was a little cut but i can't imagine a child bing close by when this happened ,I'm very disappointed as I have always own a Samsung range without having issues. ( The amount of complains had me worry)

The glass just exploded in front of my kids. Luckily, nobody got hurt.

Mine also exploded, 6 months old!!! Samsung won’t replace or repair unless I sign away my consumer rights and forfeit any further claims, as the oven is only 6 months old, I am not sure that’s the right thing to do!! They have also said this is the first time they have ever seen this happen!! Shocking!!!

My oven did the same . One day after delivered in December and it is still sitting in my house. I sent email after email. I even sent one to the CEO . GOR WHAT??? THEY SENT A BILL AND THEN SAID THEY WILL REPLACE IT . DO NOT WANT TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE STOVE.
