Can I connect cold to the hot water input on a Samsung washer dryer temporarily?

I brought a SAMSUNG - ecobubble WD90J6A10AX 9 kg Washer Dryer from curry’s it’s due to come soon, I’ve not managed to get a hot water connection put in yet, can I connect cold to both the hot and cold inlets until I can get this sorted? 

I know you can for some as they heat the water anyway don’t know if you could for Samsung’s. I just need to be able to wash clothes

no, ended up cancelling the order for now... I'll get a plumber round first i guess
