I wanted to give samsung another chance after the inner screen cracked in the middle on my Fold 3 because I like to support innovative products as a consumer. However, unfortunately, I realised yesterday that this was a huge mistake. Yesterday, almost 8 months after I bought it, out of nowhere, my screen on the Fold 4 cracked in the middle.
Without any drop and external impact, I am reliving what I experienced in my fold 3 as déjà vu.
Since I use this phone for work and do not have another phone, I cannot send it to a service operation that will take about 10-15 days at best. The sad part is that Samsung support also stated that they cannot help me with this issue and that the only solution is to send it to service. Unfortunately, now I have to buy a new phone (definitely not Fold 5). It is very clear that a company that leaves its customers alone like this will soon lose its market share.

Look down the right hand sidew of the bubbling its a crack underneath that screen protector they put on. This has happened to my device 3 times and my wifes 2 times now.

It's the nature of the foldable glass Silicone doesn't like bending the way they want it to and lab tests are great but unless the manufacturing process it spot on for the glass then a minor fault in the process will ruin a whole batch of the glass

It seems that is definitely the screen protector delaminating. Mine did the same thing after about a year. I removed the screen protector after reading somewhere it would still work fine - and it did - for about another year, then the phone became unresponsive while it was unfolded. Ufix charged about $600 to replace the inner screen and apply screen protectors to the main, inner screen and the external cover screen. That was 6-9 months ago and the phone has been fine. You could probably just have them remove the screen protector, clean it and have them apply a new protector all-in for around a $100 and save yourself the $500 cost to replace the screen. They will gaurantee it, too. Good luck.
