Z Fold 4 - Dead Pixel at fold line and white line from it

Suddenly today a dead pixel appeared in the fold line and then within a few more folds of the phone this dead pixel turned into a white line across all the way to the side of the phone. Phone is still within the one year warranty so I assume this should be fixed by Samsung. However I purchased the phone in Canada and now I live in the Czech Republic, is there any way to get it serviced directly in Czechia instead of sending over to Canada which could become an issue?

You will have to check with support but as far as I know the warranty is only valid in the country it's was purchased otherwise you will have to pay for yourself

Sounds like the screen will need replacing
Worth checking to make sure it's not an app or theme that's causing this
Dial *#0*# in the phone app. At the top are 3 different coloured test cards. If the dead Pixel dissappears in the tests, then it's probably not the screen that's the problem
If it is still there, then it's the screen

As @-Robot- says. Ask customer support, but as far as I'm aware. Warranty applies to the country of origin and won't be valid where you are now

I have had the same thing. It was fine one second & next got this dead pixel on the fold of the phone. Not even a year for the phone & will have to pay over $600 to get it fixed. Sorry but it's ridiculous for that. I always keep the phone closed & handle it with care - how can suddenly it get damaged. I used it in the morning & by the time I got to my car it was damaged.
