Woke up one morning to find a white line across the fold on my Zflip6.  I haven't had it for 7 months.  Took it to my service provider and was told this was a common issue and to call Samsung, it should be under warranty.  Samsung told me to take it to their approved service provider.  The day I took it in, the rep said that it would be fixed at no cost.  Scheduled to take it in on a weekend for repair.  Another rep said that it wasn't covered.   Called Samsung three times, all three reps read the same script, no help.  One even hung up on me.  Tired of getting the run around.  Spending to much time for samsung to not stand behind their warranty.  This will be the last time I buy samsung, but I'm only one person so they don't care.

Did you take it in to have it assessed ?

The likelihood is that it will be under warranty SO LONG AS THERE IS NO PHYSICAL DAMAGE to the outside of the frame. If there is any sign at all of a drop, or the corners have any 'dinks' then they will likely state the screen issue could have been caused by drop damage.

Some people say 'I have a scratch on the corner'... but there is a distinct difference between a 'cosmetic scratch', and a sign of it bring dropped.

If you are confident that you have not dropped it, and there are NO signs of any damage occurred to the corners from dropping, then book it in and you should be confident they will repair it free of charge under warranty.
