Z fold 3 paint

Has anyone noticed that the paint on z fold 3 is really bad. I have the phantom black and when I first got it it took only a month for the paint on hinge to start coming of going to silver and 2 months ago I got my hinge replaced with warranty and already the paint is coming of again. The only place that could be damaging it is my jeans pocket it'd protected and well looked after I don't understand it

Wherever there's paint or an anodized finish. The likelihood of scratches and chips is always there.
I sometimes find the smallest of knocks does the worst
So far after a year with my gold Z Fold 3, I don't seem to have even a scratch on the hinge.
I do really look after it though

The hinge seems to be the worst part for me tbh rhe screen is scratched with regular micro scratches but the hinge seems to scratch super easy

Mine is good however I always carry my phone's in a vertical holster with belt clip.

Have you considered a case that also protects the hinge albeit this will possibly add a little bulk to the phone @BigTadger
