Screen Replacement Warranty Fold 3

I had the inner screen replaced under warranty by Samsung about 10 months ago due to a connection issue inside of the hinge. I've just booked an appointment to have the screen protector replaced as it has begun to crack down the middle, but I was told there will be a £35 charge for it. I was on the understanding that Samsung warranties on repairs last a year, I would have assumed that it would have come under that warranty like the replacement they offer on the phone from new. The rep in the store told me it was only a 3 month warranty when the Samsung website shows 1 year. Does anyone have any clarification?

My understanding is different. The original purchase warranty is maintained. So as an example if the phone has a 2 year warranty... and 16 months into the warranty a claim is made, then the remaining warranty is still valid... hence the phone is still covered for the remaining 8 months.

My understanding is that the warranty does not 'reset' upon when a claim is made.

Note: that there may be a caveat to this, if the phone failed for the very same reason and putting into question the repair workmanship...then perhaps a 1 year warranty period on the repair may be valid. But if the new failure is a different mode then it will revert to the remaining time of the original warranty.

However I am not a samsung employee or representative, so I would seek the advice of the official customer services.
