I've had my Z flip 3 for about three weeks now and I've encountered a strange bug, or i hope it's a bug. Main screen will sometimes malfunction while you either open or close the handset. Less of a problem when closed, but if the malfunctioning happens while opening. Screen won't turn on until you close the phone again or just wait it out for it to"refresh"? I've already got a replacement (i hope so...), which has the exact same problem as the first. Some good answers?

Reens78 - Sorry to hear you are one of many having similar issues. I have searched many different sites (blogs, Reddit, Facebook, YouTube, etc..etc) talking about this issue and the only solution, depending on what country you are from, is to send the phone to Samsung or an authorized repair facility for repair. Nothing else appears to work. Samsung is aware of the issue so I would try and get the phone fixed under warranty. I like the phone, but the Flip 3 has some issues. I traded mine in for a Flip 4, hoping the issue was fixed and so far I have not read similiar issues happening to the Flip 4's.

I found the solution to this problem after Samsung refusing to inspect the problem but try really hard to void your warranty by FINDING a scratch. Anyway, I found out it was a RAM issue for my case, so I screenshot the list while I clear memory (RAM) for unused apps. What worked for mine is the "Meta Services", which allegedly is for Facebook. After disable this in the setting-->app, it works perfectly.
But, will never buy anything from Samsung after their terrible service and bad approach to solve issues - by FINDING a scratch and waiving your warranty! Problem solved for them!

Just release the update to fix the bugs. I know for now I won't flip. It is hard to live the truth.

I tried this and only worked for a day, that's how I realized it was a software issue and not a hardware one, but disabling the Meta Services and other Meta apps is what finally solved the issues for me.
