My time testing the Z Flip6 has come to an end. I can honestly say I've really enjoyed the Flip these last few months. I'm certainly going to miss it. Infact, I know i am.
Getting to use the Flip has really made me realise just how great it is to have a compact device. It's a great small pocket sized phone. It really does have it's benefits. To those who are not so keen on the big devices. The Flip6 is perfect, folds to a perfect pocket size. Once open you have a good size display. light weight meaning it is so comfortable in the hand. I've missed a phone that can be used one handed. It's weight and size has also helped me with not getting the dead hand or pins and needles. Which I get very often with heavier devices. I do like my tab s9 ultra but I do wish I went with the plus.
The fact that the Flip folds making it fit into small pockets is my best feature. It's one of the most easiest phones to carry around. It performs just the same as my s23 ultra. Just much more comfortable to hold. Cameras on the Z Flip6 are great, you get some nice shots with this phone. Not as good as the Ultra when it comes to zoom but then the Ultra can't Flex. Flex mode is extremely handy, it really depends what people would prefer. I honestly haven't been dissapointed with the Flips cameras and the photos it produces.
I am a fan of the s pen, I haven't missed the s pen as I do have the tab s9 ultra and the s23 ultra. I only really get time to draw with the s pen in the evening and weekends. So it hasn't been a deal breaker. It may be for the s pen fans.
Front cover screen is great, not having to open the fold all the time is a bonus. Great for payments, quick replies. Fingerprint on the power button is great. I don't mind the under display fingerprint. I do prefer it on the power button.
The Flip has so many features, the first thing you may do is look up videos on all the tips and tricks this device has. I pretty much like them all, my favourites is flex mode, and all the customisation you can do with the phone. It's great customising your phone to your liking. I've watched many reviews on the Flip devices so I knew what to expect and what the Flip can do. I recommend you watch some if you are new to flip device, certainly very helpful.
I would definitely recommend the Z Flip6 to those who are interested in smaller compact devices. I really have been quite surprised how nice this device is to use. I really do like it a lot. My s23 ultra is coming up for 2 years old now. It's certainly not showing any ageing. Still performs well, battery still great. I'm going to see what the s25 ultra brings. It may be tempting, who knows, I may hold off until the next foldables. May be the flip as I really do like it. For everyday use its been great. I may even be pulled towards the fold, try the S pen support with a fold. Fact is the ultra and the fold will be heavier devices. It's going to be a tuff one for sure 🤔
Not everyone will have the same opinion on the foldables. I actually have really enjoyed using the device these past few months. As for durability, as I've mentioned before it's a chance you take. I've read good and also bad, same as many other devices.
