With every UI update, I am bombarded by bloatware that I endeavour to uninstall/disable where possible, removing AI tools that I have never wanted nor asked for. In addition to this though, comes an unexpected issue, where the display decides not to activate randomly when I open my phone! The screen still registers my presses and the fingerprint sensor still unlocks it, but I have to turn off and on the screen multiple times in order to get it to wake up.
I have submitted a bug report and cleared my cache at the behest of the tech support who replied, but this only seems to have made the problem more prevelant. I expected the update to be riddled with bugs, so was at first forgiving, but again, after the patch the problem appears to have only compounded. A word of advice to Samsung, your testing before releasing updates seems to be flawed. Perhaps you ought to be more thorough before making them publically available.

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!

Samsung doesn't see these forums—submit feedback via the Samsung Members app: Support > Feedback.

2) Like it or not, AI is new and will continue to be implemented more and more into technology. AI was added by Google to all Android devices. iOS is doing it, Windows is doing it… everyone is doing it… and it's about to get a lot more prevalent. Some hate it, some like it, but it is here to stay. Woudnt go far to sprout the word bloatware IMO

Your experience in terms of bugs won't be a universal guarantee—unfortunately, it happened to you, but I can guarantee not even close to 1% of users will experience it. Yes, you'll see reports because the minority of users who do have said issues will post, while those who have a perfect experience won't mention it. Though, sorry to hear you've been affected.

I would back up all your data to a PC, factory reset, and then download all your data back again. Hopefully, this helps.

Thine welcome is greatly appreciated, and I shall certainly heed thy words of wisdom. Tis human nature to occasionally be a ***** about something, and I believe that letting it out at least somewhat constructively is healthy. Thou art kind for humouring one so. Good day to you 😌

Yes unfortunately samsung phones are increasing in bloatware, I'm surprised it's on higher end samsung phones, normally they only put loads of it on the cheap lower end models. the ones l tend to buy.

I believe it's a problem across all modern phones these days. I cannot express how much I do not want a device to be powered by AI, but I am but one man, and powerless against the desires of the faceless "shareholder". I plan on downgrading once my current phone kicks the bucket.

You are right , AI will not really benefit users, it will help industry and most of all, governments and companies like meta and Google, to profile people in a very scary way, in 10-20 years absolutely everything you do, where you go, your health records, finance records, your net worth, browsing history, work relationships, everything will be able to be accessed in real time AI will be like meta today only millions of times more accurate and like l say in real time, sadly my only child died 20 plus years ago and I'm in my early 60s so l don't really care, but it is scary
We have all sleepwalked into handing over all our data for convenience, one day governments will control what we see, can say, what work or health are we can have, everything, it is bad, but l will be lucky if l get another 15yrs and have no children. I can sleep at night, AI will change the world.
When it's in full swing, all privacy and freedom will sadly be lost, everything we do will be monitored our driving, what we eat, sexual preference, l mean everything. It's scary but hopefully l won't be around to see most of it. Young people today, l feel sorry for them, my generation was the last to have freedom. Look how the Internet has taken over our life's and how we behave, in the last 20 years, imagine the last changes in the last 20 years only speeded up by thousands. Scary Indeed
