Samsung z flip 4 black screen

Hey, I have a black screen and can't get off its since I updated my Samsung z flip 4!! Side button isn't activating the screen or duping phone up or tapping small front screen, I have to wait for ot to just come on on uts own. Is anyone else having issues?

Yes I have a Z Flip 6 and since I updated software to 6.1.1 I am having issues with the internal screen remaining black or freezing upon opening and closing. I have to plug into mains charger to get the screen to come on as this is the only way I can get it to work

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your Z Flip4, that's not something we'd expect to hear! 

 

I'd recommend that you attempt to perform a Soft Reset on the phone. To do this, please press and hold your Power and Volume Down buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds. 

 

Let me know how you get on with those steps.

I've also had the same issues since Monday when I updated my fold 4. I get a prompt saying that ui system has failed.
I have no ide how to fix it. I've seem other posts of users blaming ui update 6.1.1

I have the same issue on my Z Flip 4 too.  warranty runs out soon so I sent it to Samsung and they want to charge for a new screen.   Frustrating.

Why all these updates are mandatory, every months, then we getting problems instead! After last update my screen not responding when folding/unfolding phone! Need to wait 2 min. Then suddenly brightness was changed by itself, and not even fixing, not adjusting how it was, just too bright, only after some attempts to correct it in settings it suddenly turned back also by itself. Who do control these updates and what a hell these updates are for? For forcing customers to buy new phones?? Or to repair?? Samsung trying to pull money from customers? You offered to do soft reset, but is it safe for data? Every month Samsung forcing to do updates, or no phone, without even asking any agreement from customers. Like its not our phones, our property. This is not a fair, not a freedom. If we're buying product, it's OURS!!! We not rent a phone!
