OneUI 7 disappointment

Notifications shade now requires some seriously fiddly action and additional cognitive load to differentiate between quick settings and notifications. I'm constantly doing the wrong thing and there's no setting to restore the previous, sane, Android standard behaviour.

And max threw notification icons? What am i? A farmer?

Please fix this disaster update. Thanks.

If the new Andriod and One UI 7 features or settings are not to your liking.
You can download Samsung Goodlock and various plugins to customise to a more preferable way.
You can also leave feedback in the support section on the Members App

However there are no settingsg in Good Lock or any of its modules to restore these things.

A lot of the way the gestures etc are now is down to the way Google has changed things. So theres not really anything that can be done about that.
I know from history that when Google change things, they never go back and that's just the way it is now.
To be honest and say that as I've been using One UI 7 for a while now. It's definitely grown on me and I've just got used to it
The software on my Z Fold 5 is still on One UI 6.1.1 and does feel a little dated now. So looking forward to One UI 7 on that

All changes take time to get used to. I've personally not experienced any hassle, but I was on the S24 beta and then the S25. Be sure to search online for UI 7 help.

Neither of these changes are found in stock Android.

Both of them were configurable previously, either in system settings or Good Lock.

Good Lock (as usual) lags behind so I'm hoping there will be something in a new version of that to fix these strange UX decisions.

All the Samsung Stars and Masterminds and whatever in this community and nobody has helped this person with really simple advice that will resolve their problem...

OP, when you pull the notification window down press the Pencil icon. Tap Panel Settings, then Together. Your issue with the new layout will be fixed.
