Paying these prices should mean quicker updates of at least basic android main updates and then Samsung load out other updates later.
To me the quality of service bar real updates don't justify the price of premium devices.

So you want buggy software?

And you promise not to complain if something doesn't work?

Nope - thought not.

Hi @Jud1

I would disagree, In my opinion, Samsung delivers very best quality software and devices, I've did my research and people can't find better OS then samsungs one ui, they all have flaws (yes samsung has too) but in comparison from what I've seen from forums (specially based for software) articles and much more, people agreed on when someone asked if there's at least similar alternative to one ui and people said there's similar ones but not as fulfilled like one ui.

I hope you understand why delays comes from. To perfect software, and make everyone happy.

IMO 6 months is a joke when paying premium prices for phones.
They could roll out stock android and bring "updates" later

No they couldn't roll out stock android....

Why?

Because Samsung don't use stock android. They have their own skin, One UI. It would take much much longer to create a stock android version to replace a previous One UI and then work on releasing a One UI to replace the stock android.

Sorry but your point has no validity.

They could roll out One UI with latest android and then update their own UI as time goes on.
6 months is a joke for "premium" Samsung is letting us down massively.

Sorry (and I genuinely don't wish to offend) but you have no idea how software development works given your comments.

One UI is not stock android. As I said above, you'd be asking for 2 full OS updates each year to achieve what you are suggesting and it simply won't happen

You also haven't grasped that One UI7 is a complete rebuild of One UI, not a simple OS update.

One UI7 is being built from the ground up to support new AI functionality and yes, it is taking longer than hoped but it is also better than pretty much anything else out there.

We shouldn't be waiting this long for real updates.
I understand it's not stock android but Samsung do get access and do beta testing and it's their own UI that delays the process.
Two is probably a better idea so at least we get what we pay for...

It is clear that you don't fully comprehend software development and that is OK.

It is also clear that nothing said tonight will be accepted by you so you'll have to do what you have to do.

Samsung won't roll out stock android on top of ui then replace stock with one ui.

It is what it is
