Notification sounds but no notification

Recently i have been hearing sounds on my phone like i have received messages but when i check the notification centre nothing is there. Any ideas why this might be ?

Any time I tilt my phone or put it down I get the sound like it's been put on charge and it vibrates if slightly moved it's only started happening today 16th Sept 2024 it's really annoying if I'm playing something on YouTube it stops the video and I have to press play again to hear the best of the song argh it's frustrating

Same here. Turned of nfc and mine has stopped pinging.

Hi all,

I have a similar problem:

I recently got a new Fold 6.

When I connect my wireless Sony earbuds and receive a new Whatsapp message, the notification sound keeps repeating. Even after I opened and read the message.

The notification even continues when I turn off the earbuds. Then the notification continues on the phone, until I turn off the phone and turn it back on.

It's incredibly annoying...

Can someone please help me?

It stopped when I turned off NFC

@CBandGB: Please try heading to Settings > Notifications > Advanced settings > Repeat notification alerts, and toggle this option off if it is active.

This has to be from an update of some sort. It is out of the blue. This is a software issue not a notification problem with downloaded applications.

I turned off NFC and the ping sound went away. I am still testing it but once I did I haven't heard it again for the past 2 mins. It is now 12:24 EST 19Sept24.

Turn off NFC...That's what wad doing it on my phone. Only turn it on when you need it. No clue why it was doing it though.

Mine is a call alert that there is no service on the selected network. Found through notification history
