When getting notifications on home screen normally I'm able to pull down on messenger notification and reply to message without opening the app itself, but for some reason the reply has disappeared. I've googled and searched all my settings and can't find a solution to get it back

Hi @cbears and welcome

Have you checked if "suggested actions and replies for notifications" is turned on?
Settings > notifications > advanced settings > and toggle this option on

Also make sure all notifications are allowed, and properly set up in apps.1734819714822.jpg

Hello @cbears 👋

Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum.

Have you downloaded anything or changed anything recently 🤔

Maybe try this as a broadsworded option >

  • Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

And Safe Mode  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict. Alternatively long press the power off button and then long hold on Turn Off to get to Safe Mode.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

I've turned phone off and restarted, I've updated the software and from this screenshot I've tried to pull down messenger notification but it won't pull down anymore to reply without opening Facebook messenger itself 😊1734851799855.jpg
