Upgraded to flip 6 from flip 4. Transfer went well until I noticed getting no app notifications at all. All settings are correct. What's going on?

If you transferred via using SmartSwitch this may have had a negative impact @braelass

Try a forced reboot by holding down the volume down key and power button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. When your phone resets, you will feel it vibrate.

I personally use Samsung Cloud to move my info across which has resulted in no negative impact.

  • Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

If you perform a forum search you may find existing threads with some further help or guidence within.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

@braelass: I also recommend double checking your settings to ensure that the device is set up to send notifications for all applications. To do so, please head to Settings > Notifications > App notifications > Make sure that 'All' is selected via the drop down option at the top of the list of apps, and toggle on all apps you want to receive notifications from using the switches to the right of each app.

Now, tap the Back button > Advanced settings > Show notification icons > Choose any option except 'None' > Notification history > On.

Tap the Back button > Do not disturb > Make sure that this option is toggled off.

If the problem persists, you may wish to head to Settings > Apps > Select an affected app > Notifications > Allow notifications > On, then check each notification type (Lock screen, Badge and Pop-up).
