I tried to get on it and everything for this month and on has been deleted. All the old stuff is there but nothing else... anyone know how to fix? Everytime I try to make an entry and have it repeat it deletes itself.

Hi @Wonderwoman. Hope you're doing well. Can you please give more information on this? Which calendar are you using, and which accounts have you stored on the calendar? Also, which device are you using?

Thanks for confirming. Can you please try signing into your accounts on a browser to see if the calendar entries are stored there?

I signed into Google and its the same thing. Everything from March was there, but April and on its all gone. Doesn't make sense. And as I said everytime I try to edit it so it will repeat and show up it just dissappears.

Did you back up the phone data before performing the software update? If so, can you try to restore the data from Settings> Accounts and back up> Back up and restore> Restore data> Select the calendar data.

I've tried that. So one min the info is back and then it dissappears again... idk I can't figure it out. I know I don't want to loose any of the stuff I have saved. I'm giving up for now.

Hi @Wonderwoman,

There's hope!

Just found out that there was an error in the Bixby Service application, but that this should be fixed now.

  • Firstly, update Bixby service from Galaxy Store: Galaxy Store > Menu > Update > Bixby Service update.
  • And then, add a temporary recurring event on the calendar, and delete it.

Then all your events will be recovered.

If the error is not fixed with that solution, please send an error report with device log as soon as you notice the issue by:  Samsung Members App > Get Help menu > Send feedback > Error reports
