One ui 7 app intergration

So I downloaded the one ui 7 update, and it says that gemini has integration with samsung notes and calendar. However, when I hold the side button and ask gemini to set a reminder etc, it saves it to google tasks. Why? What is the point. Am I doing something wrong? It seems really pointless if that's the case. I will switch back to bixby as I use that feature all the time with bixby. 

Also, why cant we swipe from the corner anymore?? 

Overall the update looks good, but the basics have been taken away. I don't want to use the Google apps *****

Did you enable the integration? In apps inside the Gemini app

How do I start that process? I didn't know i had to do any of that

Open the Gemini app, press the circle in the top right, press apps, tick all the things you want Gemini to be able to access

Yep all of that is ticked, but when I use the side button gemini assistant, it doesn't work 🤷‍♂️

Strange. Have you tried just telling it to use samsung notes? Since it's an ai, it can just be wrong sometimes or not use all it's abilities

Yep. It worked once on a samsung reminder. I'll keep trying. Maybe it needs to do it a few times

Have you tried going into your phone settings and changing what your side button does? I changed mine into a power button and when phone is locked a double press opens the camera with the screen locked which is useful when asking others to take a picture with your phone? I usually disable all the Google assistants as they spy too much and keep interfering when not wanted I.e responding to key words when phone locked in pocket (Embarrassing in Meetings) or taking over screen and phone by responding to key words from Sat Nav or Radio (Really frustrating when driving and you can't clear the screen to see navigation screen) Hope this helps
