My Galaxy z flip 4 shuts down when folded

Just faced an issue that my Galazy z flip 4 powers off when folded. 

kindly if anyone knows a solution for this problem do let me know.

They tell me to pay 600 dollars to fix it without care+. I'm using it openI won't buy a flip again. . .

I have the same issue and mine is only 5 months old so i contacted samsung and booked for it to be repaired for them to say as there is scratches on the hinge it has broken the warranty even though my phone has always had a case on but can be fixed for £320.so ime nit at all happy with samsung as they even said this is a fault with all the flips and fold phones

I paid mine off and got an iPhone. I would recommend that versus any other Samsung. F@@k Samsung. I won’t buy any more of their ***** in the future.

This is a known problem. Samsung are going to lose lots of customers to other brands. My son has now traded his in against a Google which has far better reviews. My wife also has a flip which will be the next to go. I was going to buy a fold, but thatcwill not be happening until Samsung accept responsibility and stop using general wear and tear as a reason to refuse warranty repairs.

Same, still in warranty and a little dink on corner and they said warranty voided. £365 later and I have gone through my insurance instead

This just started happening to me this morning 😬Is the solution to use like a normal phone and not flip? What's the point then!
